(^Martians catching up on those sweet sweet Nibs they missed this month)
Voynich: A Book That No One Can Read
So we’ve got this 500 year-old manuscript with no title or author, written in a language that no one knows. Inside, it seems to depict strange botany, weird astrology, and potential pharmacology. Oh, and professional and amateur cryptographers alike have spent their entire lives trying to decipher it to no avail. Intrigued? Go check out our post on The Voynich manuscript.
BerenSTEIN or BerenSTAIN Bears? How do you remember it spelled? And does it mean there’s a rift in spacetime?
Is it possible that the moment we left our childhood we entered a parallel reality that has left us small clues, like the fact that The Berenstein Bears have ALWAYS (apparently) been spelled The BerenstAin Bears?
Go find out in our post on Berenstein/Berestain Bears - The Mandela Effect.
Montauk: the REAL LIFE Stranger Things
Did you know that the Stranger Things television series is not-so-loosely based on a real life conspiracy theory known as the Montauk Project? (In fact, the plot was so similar to the theory, that the creator of a 2012 short film on Montauk tried to sue the producers who brought Stranger Things to Netflix.)
Go check out our dive into the experiments that might have gone on in Montauk, New York.
Blink-182...Alien Hunters?
In May 2020, the United States military admitted they have confirmed footage of unidentifiable flying objects. And the man responsible for the original circulating footage? You guessed it: Tom DeLonge, Former member of Blink-182.
Check out our story on Tom DeLonge, co-founder of Blink-182 and real life UFO-ologist.
Keep tuned for Monday’s Nibble!
So that’s October in a nutshell. After you catch up, make sure to subscribe and share with anyone else you think would like these Nibbles! And remember to pay attention to that inbox Monday morning for our next topic - The Dyatlov Pass Incident. What’s the Dyaltov Pass Incident you ask? Oh, just nine dead Russian hikers in various states of mutilation with no explanation…
One more thing - have a topic you’d like us to explore? Comment and let us know. If the people want it, we’ll give it to them.
As always, stay ‘spicious.
